Brian "Milo" O'Shea - Head Goalkeeper Academy, 11 Football
Brian leads the Goalkeeper Academy at 11 Football, bringing decades of elite playing and coaching experience across Ireland, the UK, Europe, the USA, and Australia.
He began his career with Home Farm and made his senior debut at 17, going on to enjoy a 16-year professional playing career across the League of Ireland and Irish Premier League, including St Patrick’s Athletic, Shelbourne, Bohemians, Monaghan United, Sligo Rovers, and Newry Town. He represented Ireland at the Youth International and U23 Olympic levels.
Brian has held senior goalkeeper coaching roles with Shamrock Rovers, St Patrick’s Athletic, Bohemians, and Dublin City, and served as Goalkeeper Coach and Assistant Manager with Tullamore Town.He has also coached within the Republic of Ireland U15 and U18 environments alongside leading national staff, including Brian Kerr, Andy Reid, and Harry McCue.
Internationally, he spent eight years coaching in the USA and had a stint in Australia with Manly FC, where he served as both a goalkeeper and a goalkeeper coach.
Brian previously served as Director of Coaching at The Darren Randolph Academy, and was lead coach across national camps and clinics, including the Kat Clinics programme.
Gabriel "Gabi" Sava - Head of Elite Goalkeepers (11 a side), 11 Football
Gabriel “Gabi” Sava is Head of Elite Goalkeepers at 11 Football, leading the development of goalkeepers competing in the 11-a-side game and supporting players operating within high-performance and senior pathways.
Romanian born and raised in Italy, Gabi began his football journey in the Lazio youth system before building a standout senior career in Ireland’s top divisions. He joined Drogheda United in 2001 and went on to play for Bray Wanderers, Monaghan United and Dundalk, earning a reputation as one of the most dependable goalkeepers in the League of Ireland.
During his time at Dundalk, Gabi was part of one of the club’s most successful eras, winning four League of Ireland Premier Division titles and competing in European competitions including Champions League and Europa League qualifiers. He also lifted the League of Ireland Cup with Drogheda United.
Now retired, Gabi has transferred his elite playing experience into coaching. He served as Head Goalkeeper Coach with The Darren Randolph Academy and was lead coach across its national camps and clinics, including the Kat Clinics programme. He has also coached at senior level with Longford Town in the Airtricity First Division and currently serves as Goalkeeper Coach with St Patrick’s Athletic U20s.
At 11 Football, Gabi leads the Elite Goalkeeper programme, focusing on game realism, tactical awareness, decision making, positioning and the mental resilience required to perform consistently in the 11 a side game.
